Business Profile

In the light of insight that we earned from our long-term experience in the field of culinary, Chennai Express is our dream come true to provide a homely space where our guests can enjoy all types of food and varieties of traditional dishes.

Our team has travelled throughout South India exploring the variance of food. It was evident from the exploration that the food which is prepared by adding the spices and herbs in the right proportion becomes really tasty and healthy too. Healthy in the sense that the food which is prepared in the traditional way is easier to digest and also the healing property of herbs checks and slows down the process of ageing. We are much delighted to serve food that belongs to this specific class of South Indian cuisine, as the ingredients are rich in antioxidants and anti-cancer constituents. The realization that made us bewitched much towards this culinary branch is that, as we take a closer look at any South Indian dish and do a little research on its method of preparation and the ingredients in it, it is so transparent that every recipe has got Its fat element,

starch content, carbohydrate component and also the elements which helps in the breakdown of these fats to neutralize the scorching impact on the digestive organs. As a result, the food we eat becomes neither acidic and not much basic in nature. One of the merits of regular consumption of this kind of food is that it gives us the pliability of having a lifestyle free from food supplements and neutralizing medications.

The commonly used artificial splicing agents and flavour enhancers simply impart the pungency of food and in the subtle research, it can be known that this hot spiciness will have an undesired impact in the state of mind of the one who consumes it on a regular basis. But noticeably in the spices which are being used in South Indian cookery with the use of red or green pepper that adds flavour and also due to its rich composition of vitamin A, C and antioxidant properties, including beta-carotene, which helps maintain healthy skin and vision. Other splicing agents like herbs which are essentially soothing medicines aiding to the presence of various kinds of probiotic and proactive natural chemicals which our body can easily absorb. Apart from the commonly used spices, these alternatives even though serve as spiciness enhancers, it never inflames the state of mind, on the other hand, it can intensify alertness in the long run.
