Mucky Muttz first blog... Well lifes been pretty hectic, with the new puppy arriving, reeking havoc at the homestead!! She should be coming to work in the salon in a couple of weeks, once she has had her jags :-) We have had a pretty busy Summer at the shop, all the Summer hair cuts for the good weather...now its time to get ready for the Autumn rain... Better to get the dogs done before they are always soaked and then knotted underneath, the knots wont dry properly and thats what causes the really bad damp dog smell. Another handy hint NEVER rub a coated dog dry with towels it is the worse cause of knotting the coat, and teh main reason sadly some dogs need to have the coat stripped off, as teh knots are so tight there is no other option..Time to start thinkin of reflective collars and leads, coats etc which you will find a good selection of on our web site. www.muckymuttz.webs.com
